Andrew Bramlett will lead us through the Kennesaw Cemetery and introduce us to some of its most prominent permanent residents, including a doctor, a preacher, several mayors, two postmasters, three railroad workers, a soldier, local businessmen, and two teachers. Andrew will share brief stories about each of these people along the 30-minute tour. These individuals are just a few of the many fascinating people who helped to make Kennesaw a wonderful place to live.
Andrew is 11 years old and is a lifelong resident of Kennesaw. He has a love for history and is deeply involved in promoting Kennesaw and the history of our area. Currently Andrew is the Vice President of the Kennesaw Historical Society, an honorary member of the Cemetery Preservation Commission for the City of Kennesaw, a volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, and a special events volunteer with the Kennesaw Parks and Recreation department.
Individual tickets are $20 per person. Tickets are on sale online at CobbLandmarks.com/CemeteryTour. Proceeds from ticket sales support Cobb Landmarks and the Kennesaw Cemetery Preservation Foundation.
