Home School Tours
Home schooled children of all ages can explore an antebellum southern home and experience the lifestyle and housekeeping practices of a middle class family in the 1850s. Frequently, our Junior Docent home schoolers in period clothing can join the group as they explore the lifestyle and culture of 1850’s Georgia just prior to the Civil War. If exploration and investigation for a particular topic or area are needed, these topics can easily be incorporated into a scheduled tour of our unique antiquities museum.
